Once known as the crown prince Atlas of Caliburn, he is the sole survivor of the family. After witnessing the traumatic slaughter of his family, he fled with the aid of his family's most trusted guard. Through some stroke of luck, in the days after their escape, they came across a woodsman's cabin in the deepest depths of the woods, and were offered shelter and, eventually, a home. Never to speak a word of his life before, he became known as Leto. The change of name and fate never extinguished the princely grace in him, but did leave him painfully aloof. He comes off as unaffected, cool and slow to warm amongst strangers. His own emotional ineptitude doesn't aid matters, but he is unfailingly loyal to those very few he does cherish.

The son of a modest woodsman. They lived in seclusion, deep in the forest near the kingdom's border, until one fated night when two lost stragglers, tired and bereft of their possessions, knocked on their door to ask for shelter. The four have been like a family ever since, and although he won't admit it, Felis has grown close to Leto and regards him as a friend, or even something akin to a brother. He has a curt and avoidant manner, which makes him seem rude or prickly at first, but that's just to mask the awkward care underneath. He's skilled with a bow, and knows his way through the forest by heart, making him quite adept at things like path-finding and outdoor survival.

Fifteen years ago, his family overthrew the previously ruling Caliburn bloodline, being hailed as saviors upon presenting proof that the former had been dealing with a demon for their own benefit. The uprising was partly masked as the work of the World Ender, so the populace thinks highly of King Clarent and his son. He has a pet wolf named Deimos, which accompanies him everywhere.

A mythical demon whose appearances throughout history are based on pure whim. He meddles with the affairs of humans for his own amusement and disappears again as he grows bored. Supposedly, he eventually became so unamused with the world that he tried to end it a few centuries prior, only to be vanquished by the founder of the Caliburn dynasty, a hero who had appeared out of nowhere. Or at least, that's what everyone thought... until one night fifteen years ago, the Caliburns were wiped out without warning. According to the investigation conducted by the Clarents, they had been keeping the demon sealed and exploiting his power, but lost control and were brutally exterminated. Azodys escaped, his current whereabouts unknown.
